Belinda Rushbrook

belinda rushbrookBelinds is a professional and active woman with a passion for children, early childhood development and quality children’s services. Her rewarding career has been built through dedication, determination and a strong commitment to Children’s services and the Community. During the past 20 years, Belinda has had the opportunity to be employed in a wide variety of early childhood settings and environments. The experience that she has gained from each of these settings has provided her with extensive professional skills and knowledge. Belinda was first employed with childrenfirst in 1998 and currently is the Children’s Services Manager. Belinda is responsible for managing the delivery of the children services within childrenfirst. and all aspects of Personnel Management and human resources including the development of job descriptions, recruitment, induction, identifying, developing and supporting training, mentoring trainees and ensuring staff undertake external professional training, facilitating the development of agendas for planning days, appraising staff and motivating staff to strive to new educational and professional goals.

Clare Pearson

clare pearsonClare joined the childrenfirst team in 2010. Prior to this, Clare worked in a variety of roles including early childhood, child protection and across the disability sector in both Australia and England. Clare has completed her Diploma in Children’s Services, a Bachelor Degree in Social Science, Honours in Psychology and a Master of Child and Adolescent Welfare. In completing such studies Clare have developed both the skills and knowledge to enable her to effectively work within the community and across a range of disciplines. But more importantly, the combination of training and experience has driven and inspired a lifelong passion for working with and supporting children, families and community in any capacity possible.

Jason Cummings

jason cummingsJason is the Chief Executive Officer of childrenfirst. Jason joined the organisation in September 2009. Before this he was a lecturer in Behaviour Management and Early Childhood Development at Charles Sturt University. Before this, Jason had managed a Fairbridge centre in Dundee in Scotland and various inclusion projects throughout Scotland over the preceeding 10 years. Jason has 20 years of experience working in Inclusive Education Projects both in Australia and Scotland. He holds a degree in English and Computing from Glasgow University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Special Educational Needs) from Strathclyde University has recently completed a Masters of Education through La Trobe University in Bendigo.

Robyn Inskip

Robyn has been with childrenfirst since 1996 and has seen her role and childrenfirst grow exponentially in that time. After graduating Business College in 1981 she work for a Chartered Accountancy firm before taking up a role with the Federal Government where she worked in the Children’s Services Areas particularly Child Care Benefit and Child Disability Allowances.

Robyn has lived most of her life in the Blacktown LGA and understands the needs of the community and is committed to providing quality services to families. She is married with two sons both of whom attended Patrician Brothers College in Blacktown.
