Our fabulous staff at the Learning Support Programme (LSP) help children between the ages of 0-6 years who may have some difficulty in any area of their general development (for example communication, motor, play, social and/or behaviour).

Early Childhood Educators, eligible preschools and childcare centres in the Blacktown Local Government Area can all refer children to the LSP for Speech Pathology (SP) and Occupational Therapy (OT) assessments and support. Our therapists visit children and their centre to help Educators to identify any difficulties the children may be having.

We then work closely with families and educators, providing the necessary resources and ideas to help make preschool or childcare a successful environment for learning. We can also help parents and educators access other services that may be able to help the child.
