This training session aims to help your team unlock various thinking approaches that will help them to extend children’s play and learning in a meaningful way.

Elements of Quality Areas 1.1 and 1.2 of the National Quality Standard will be addressed.

Designed to help educators expand their thinking and creativity when it comes to planning for a play-based curriculum.

This training session is suitable for those who are new to programming and planning, or for teams wanting a refresher.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Explore ‘sets’ of prompts to assist thinking for creative extensions ideas
  • Engage in reflective activities to expand thinking
  • Examine elements of National Quality Standard Quality Area 1 to deepen understanding of approaches to extending children’s play and learning
