Open extended hours and conveniently located between Blacktown’s CBD and the M4, Blacktown Road Children’s Centre boasts state of the art facilitates which include viewing platforms over each of the five playrooms catering for children from six weeks to school age.
Each indoor playroom inspires creativity in a fun learning environment. Our friendly and qualified educators encourage all children in play-based learning using the ‘Early Years Learning Framework’, giving your child a great start to their education.
Our large outdoor adventure playground gives children the chance to explore our natural environment and work together in social play. Children and staff are active participants in caring for the outdoor space, and can often be seen sprinkling water from the rainwater tanks on native plants, planting and nurturing herb and vegetable gardens or searching for lizards.
Our approach to inclusion and diversity ensures that every family and their child feels welcome. We provide all meals, following the Australian Dietary Guidelines and cater for religious and dietary requirements.

Meera Nair, Acting Centre Manager
Hi, I’m Meera and I’m the Acting Centre Manager at Children First – Blacktown Road Children’s Centre. I hold a Master’s in Science and a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
I’ve been part of the Children First team for over 10 years, and I’m passionate about creating inclusive environments where children feel supported, respected, and free to explore at their own pace. As a parent, I deeply value the trust families place in us and believe strong relationships built on respect and open communication are key to supporting each child’s journey.
I feel a strong connection to Dharug Country and proudly celebrate its rich culture, while also embracing the many backgrounds that make up our centre.

Centre Fees
Families can save up to $2,174 for 4-year-olds and $515 for 3-year-olds through the Start Strong program.
Plus, we offer Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to reduce out-of-pocket costs.
