Blacktown Road Children’s Centre Harmony Day Art Exhibition

Children First held an exclusive Harmony Day Art Exhibition at our Blacktown Road Children’s Centre on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.

Harmony Day is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone and supports our ‘Belonging, Being & Becoming’ framework.

Blacktown is a city of diverse cultures and we proudly celebrated the multiculturalism of our centre by getting all our families together and showcasing the talents of our children.
The Art Exhibition fundraiser was a huge success – art adorned the walls and even up the ceilings everywhere you looked. From paintings to sculptures, there’s no denying the artworks by these children were true masterpieces.
Each Room created a group artwork which was auctioned off at the end of the night. These were sop popular we even had 2 families fighting it out for the room 4 group artwork! Over $1000 was raised which will be put towards new outdoor equipment for the children to enjoy.
The Harmony Day artwork by Room 2 was kindly gifted to Growing Potential head office and Robyn couldn’t be happier!
Check out some of the great photos from the night below and on our new Facebook page.
