Plumpton outside school hours and vacation care is held in Plumpton public school hall which caters for:
- Before school care: 30
- After school care: 45
- Vacation care: 45
We are an accredited high quality centre which offers school age children from 5-12 years a safe and stimulating enviroment for the provision of interest based, age appropiate activities that focus on play and recreation for all the children both indoors and outdoors.
We strive to meet the varying needs of families through positive partnerships that develop the child in a safe community.
- Our Ratios are: 1 to 15
- Excursions/outside the grounds: 1 to 8
Our programme is run by two staff in the mornings, three staff in the afternooms and four during vacation care except when we go on excursions and then have extra staff.
All staff are experienced oosh workers with appropiate certificates and training.
Hours of operation
- After school care: 3-6.30pm
- Before school care: 7am-9am
- Vacation care: 7am-6.30pm
There is always a wide variety of activities available for the children in which they are free to move around.We pride ourselves on offering an ever changing program that provides children with new and valuable experiences. Our activities are designed to help all children to further develop their life skills and become independent as well as promoting respect, individuality, health and well being.
We provide nutritional snacks at both before and after school care.
During vacation care our programme is full of interesting and stimulating experiences including both incursions and excursions and theme days which provide a lot of fun and enjoyment for children and staff.
We abide by the National standards for outside school hours. We also comply with all regulations regarding food safety and preparation, sunsmart, occupational health and safety and program planning.
