Children First receives CommBank Community Donation

Children First – Blacktown Road Children’s Centre was proud to receive a $500 CommBank Community Donation from Commonwealth Bank Plumpton.

On Friday, 12 June, representatives from Children First joined Amy, Branch Manager at Commonwealth Bank Plumpton, and her team for a morning tea and cheque presentation.

The donation will be used to purchase small pets for our rooms, giving children more opportunities to build connection, empathy and responsibility through caring for animals.

These everyday experiences support children’s learning in meaningful ways. Caring for small pets can help children develop kindness, patience and a sense of responsibility, while also encouraging gentle interactions and respect for living things.

Children First is a not-for-profit and registered charity supporting children, families and communities. We are grateful for local partnerships that help us provide additional resources and experiences that enrich children’s learning.

We sincerely thank Amy and the Commonwealth Bank Plumpton team for their generosity and support of our children and local community. We look forward to sharing an update once the new small pets have joined our rooms.
